Meet our cashew

I had my first ob-gyn appointment today at Darnall Army Medical Center (on post at Ft. Hood). Everything went well and I really like my doctor (not midwife, which is usually what everyone sees there). It sounds like they're going to keep my care there rather than referring me out. They'll refer me out only if complications develop, as they did with Layla. We really hope that doesn't happen again. John and I aren't sure how we feel about keeping my care there but we shall see. It also sounds like I'll have to have another c-section, which I'm not looking forward to. That means yet another epidural/spinal block, which I was really hoping to avoid.
And it looks like we're only having one cashew. Whew! For some reason, I had this feeling that there was more than one. I don't know why, but I must say I'm relieved to see only one of two little arms waving hi. I'm now 7 weeks and 1 day along and still feeling nice and nauseous all the time. Not to mention tired. Oh well. I know it will be worth it in the long run.
I will continue to keep you updated and will post Halloween pics as soon as I find the cable to connect the camera to the computer. I'm sure I put it somewhere where I wouldn't forget it. Hmmm....now where would that be?
