Thank you all so very much for the congratulations! Several of you have e-mailed or called with questions, so I figured I'd answer them for everyone. :)
Was this planned? Yes, it was. After much discussion between John and I, we decided this was the right time. Of course, after the baby gets here, he'll graduate from his master's program, will go to ILE (some 12 week course and I have no idea what the acronym stands for) and we'll PCS (i.e. move to no telling where). Crazy, some may say. I'm inclined to agree. It's all Sean's fault.
Are we going to have more? I know I've said before, that no, we wouldn't; but I think I always knew in the back of my mind that we would. However, I can say that this one will be the last. The only way we're having four is if this one is indeed twins (I hope I didn't just jinx myself).
How am I feeling? Absolutely horrible. I have described it as feeling hung-over 24 hours/day. However, the lovely nauseated feeling seems to increase throughout the day, which is good. Right now, for instance, I am really not feeling very well at all and this is the worst I've felt all day. Off to bed I shall go shortly.
Is Sean excited? Yes, he is excited. He's wanted another sibling for a while now. We had the discussion a while back on another brother vs. sister. He said he wanted another brother. I asked him why he didn't want another sister and he said because they couldn't walk. That broke my heart. We've since talked quite a bit about Layla and her condition. He's the best big brother already and I know he's going to get even better with this one. We've already talked about him having diaper duty. He wasn't too fond of that idea.
And last but not least, when am I due? Well, I actually have been working on getting into the doctor. I guess my griping and telling them that November 15th for my first appointment was "completely unacceptable" (harsh language, huh?) worked and I got in today. I am due June 20th. We'll be sure to keep everyone updated on everything as it progresses.
Love to you all!
